November 13, 2025

Utah’s business ecosystem is home to numerous events and gatherings that offer excellent networking opportunities while also providing vital resources to help ventures grow. The state’s upcoming AI summit is no different, granting Utahns a chance to learn more about the evolving AI landscape.

Hosted by the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, the Nucleus Institute, and Utah’s Department of Commerce, the Pro-Human Leadership in the Age of AI Summit will kick off with an all-day ‘hackathon’ on Dec. 1 — allowing participants to tackle real AI challenges and explore practical solutions.

Following the workshop, which will bring together local companies, technical experts, and government partners, Day 2 of the summit will be divided into three sessions, each providing attendees with key tools to better navigate the shifting tech scene.

“We are excited to assemble a diverse group of experts and stakeholders,” said Jefferson Moss, Executive Director of GOEO. “This summit will highlight Utah’s commitment to ethical AI and will generate actionable insights and collaborations that will shape the future of technology and our workforce.”

The event will not only offer exciting keynotes, but also hands-on workshops and breakout sessions that encourage deep discussions and valuable connections. Featured speakers include industry titans, such as Chris A. Malachowsky, a founder of NVIDIA, as well as local leaders and educators.

“Utah’s focus on human-centric innovation aims to establish the state as a driving force in pro-human and pro-business AI initiatives,” said Margaret Woolley Busse, Executive Director of the Utah Department of Commerce. “With this summit, we are laying the groundwork for AI to contribute to sustainable growth and societal well-being.”

Whether you’re a founder looking to utilize AI or simply curious about how the business landscape is changing, the Pro-Human Leadership in the Age of AI Summit is a must-attend event. To find more information and register, visit the event’s homepage.
