For many entrepreneurs, the place they operate from can make or break early momentum. It’s not just about the location or amenities — it’s about the kind of community that grows around them. Being surrounded by like-minded individuals can provide the support, connections, and energy a new business needs to grow and thrive.
Kiln embodies this ideal: as more than a workspace, it’s a community and lifestyle brand designed to elevate performance and quality of life. With amenity-rich locations and world-class hospitality, it offers private offices, meeting rooms, event spaces, and shared areas where people can work alongside others.
“The greatest driver of productivity is mental health,” said Kiln founder Arian Lewis. “That’s why our environments are designed to accommodate many different working styles, personalities, and needs.”
Lewis first encountered the coworking movement while earning his MBA in the U.K., then went on to launch spaces in cities like London and New York. Over the next several years, he refined his vision for what coworking could become — something more than just desks and Wi-Fi.
While living in Connecticut and commuting nearly two hours to Manhattan, Lewis began imagining a different kind of workspace: one that was community-driven, lifestyle-focused, and closer to home. That vision came into focus after he and his family relocated to Utah in 2017, and Kiln’s first beta space opened in Lehi the following year.
“I always contemplated how I would do things differently,” Lewis said. “I had studied the industry and learned how to build and operate across several countries, which led me to see how Utah and the West could benefit from a quality and lifestyle-centric offering.”
Since 2018, Kiln has expanded to dozens of locations across eight states, spreading its unique approach to work. All members can benefit from the growing network, with the option to operate from any location regardless of their home base.
“Kiln removes the friction in setting up an office and having your daily needs taken care of,” Lewis said. “It’s a living library for solving a variety of problems fast. You can find an expert in almost every category — from Fortune 5000 companies to fellow startups — a huge advantage over working from your basement or guest bedroom.”
In addition to providing space to work, Kiln curates a dynamic calendar of events to fuel professional growth and personal well-being. From high-impact networking and educational workshops to after-work socials, its programming fosters connection, learning, and balance.
