“The Utah Innovation Fund’s objective is simple: How can we support these startups in their earliest stage that have a hard time getting funding here, so that they can stay here, get support here, and attract outside capital to Utah as opposed to the other way around,” said Gabi Tellez, the Managing Director of Utah Innovation Fund. “We can benefit from the economic development that comes from those companies staying here with their innovation and the talent pool they’ll draw.”
