Where Women in Utah Can Find Support for Business Growth

Utah is home to many resources for women business owners that foster growth, innovation, and success. In celebration of Women’s History Month, here are organizations and programs dedicated to empowering women on their entrepreneurial journey.

Women’s Business Center of Utah

The Women’s Business Center of Utah provides free advising, training programs, and resources to help women start, grow, and sustain successful businesses. The center also provides a Utah Women-Owned Business Directory to promote women-owned businesses across the state.

Women’s Business Networks

In addition to statewide women’s business networks, regional groups connect entrepreneurs and professionals with opportunities for growth. Networks can be found in Salt Lake Valley, Utah County, Cache Valley, Wasatch County, Park City, Uintah Basin, St. George, and others that provide mentorship, workshops, and peer support for women in business.

Women Tech Council

The Women Tech Council enhances the economic impact of women in technology by providing networking, mentoring, and leadership development. Through programs like SheTech Explorer, the Women Tech Council supports and inspires young women pursuing careers in STEM and entrepreneurship.

Women’s Leadership Institute

The Women’s Leadership Institute offers leadership development programs and initiatives to advance women in business and politics. Its flagship program, ElevateHER, helps women build the confidence and skills needed in leadership roles.

Womenpreneurs

Womenpreneurs is a professional community that supports Utah women with a focus on collaboration and empowerment. It helps business owners through skill-building workshops, networking events, and expert-led programs.

Tech-Moms

Tech-Moms is a career development program designed to help women in technology-focused careers and entrepreneurial ventures. Through tech training courses, mentorship, and networking opportunities, Tech-Moms provides the tools needed to break into the tech industry.

Utah Women & Leadership Project

The Utah Women & Leadership Project conducts research, hosts events, and provides resources to strengthen the impact of women in leadership across Utah. Its work uplifts and supports women in business, politics, and education.

Kinect Capital WeROC

WeROC, or Women Entrepreneurs Realizing Opportunities for Capital, is an annual pitch event and conference that connects founders with investors, mentors, and funding opportunities. The event is hosted by Kinect Capital and is dedicated to bridging the capital gap for women-led businesses.
